    Figure 8 descender works as a much more versatile rappel device for SRT.
    By wrapping the rope around its slots, it can help people hang in mid altitudes.
    It can increase the friction and slow down the descending speed.
    Thick body largely decreases the abrasion or wear of rope to a minimum level.
    The principle slot is large enough to double or triple your single rope to increase frictions for slow descent.
    Used for rocking climbing, tree climbing, fire rescue, expand, mountaineering, caving, engineering protection, high level working, aerial silk.
    Rescue 8 descender is also widely used in Aerial Dance, especially aerial silk to make a super safe anchor.
